About Dr. Patricia McCullagh, Psy.D.
I am Dr. Patricia McCullagh, a clinical psychologist with over 30 years experience working with adults of all ages. I enjoy helping people better understand what may lie beneath their symptoms so they can develop greater self-awareness, make meaningful choices, and move toward a more fulfilling life.
My work is guided by the observation that the concerns that bring people to therapy seldom tell the whole story. While symptoms are a very real source of distress, they may also reflect experiences, patterns, emotions, and influences that shape how we feel, think, and relate to ourselves and others, sometimes outside of our full awareness. Exploring these underlying influences can help bring greater understanding, support more conscious choices, and foster a greater sense of freedom in how you live your life.
At other times, therapy may simply provide a supportive space to gain perspective, work through a specific situation, or find a way forward. Whether exploring deeper patterns or addressing a specific challenge, our work together is guided by what is most helpful for you.
I also have a special interest in helping clients explore their dreams as a source of reflection, insight, and personal understanding.
